Felt Flowers

This week I made some felt flowers because they are nice for the wedding. I tried different ones that I found on different blogs.

The Dahlia

This is my favourite so far, although it takes the longest to make.
I found this one on: http://news.holidash.com//2010/04/23/mothers-day-corsage/

The instructions are very clear. Cutting and sticking all the petals together is a lot of work but I like the way in which you can use multiple colours. Using wash pins to hold the petals together while they are drying is really helpful although I still have a lot of glue on my fingers. So far I have done four of these but I plan to make more as corsages for the wedding.

The Rose

This flower I found on: http://asewingodyssey.blogspot.nl/2010/06/felt-rose-tutorial.html

It takes more sewing work than the dahlia but it is great for making roses for a bouquet.

Nice and Easy Flower

This flower I found on: http://www.creationsbykara.com/2011/01/felt-flower-tutorial-for-valentines-day.html

It is very easy, and not a lot of work. I think I would make the middle slightly bigger next time and use some different colours.

If you know more free felt flower tutorials please let me know. Which flower is your favourite?
